BLACKCURRANT TRIMMER




We can provide front mounted trimmers suitable for all tractor types to allow mechanical pruning and rejuvenation of blackcurrant plants. Machines can be single or multi blade with height and profile angling adjustment.

A hydraulically driven cicircular saw allows trimming at speeds of 3.5-4 km/h as it cuts away lower side branches, with the crop divider keeping fruiting wood clear of the blade. A foot skid prevents the saw from any potential contact with the soil
